I still don't know which is the offending table. This may not be relevant, but one possible cause is that you are trying to open a table exclusive. Could you have inadvertently set the Exclusive property of one of the tables in the DE. I have only one table open exclusively in the form, and it is not in the DE. I open a table called tmprug which resides in the user's own folder.
The tmprug file is a temporary data entry area. I am not using a cursor because this temporary data entry area sometime needs to be saved even when the user exits the system. It was implemented like this in the old Fox2.
