Our machines started showing an alert near the clock "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes" We push out updates through SCCM at certain times but as far as I can tell we have pushed everything critical. Is there any way to tell what update it thinks it needs or even better just suppress the alert so hundreds of people stop calling me about "Updates"?

You can sure disable this messaged to end users and check within SCCM if everything is deployed. Like if you have all needed classification of updates approved for example in SCCM. We can think if the APIs which used to added our own applications to the exception list of windows firewall were exposed to public, how dangerous it is for a client machine. You can add your software to the exception list so that your application will not pop up a Windows alert. Obviously, it is not recommend. Thanks Daniel!!!!
